Film Screening: Equal Means Equal

Tuesday March 12, 2019, 5:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Friend's Community Room, Rockland Public Library, Rockland ME

March is National Women's History Month designated, since 1980, to honor women's contributions to American history. Come join us to celebrate women in America!

And to look at unfinished business. We invite you to a screening of Equal Means Equal, a powerful, 90-minute documentary on the status of women's rights in America. This 2016 film reveals the inadequacies in present laws protecting women and demonstrates the need for a ratified Equal Rights Amendment.
