Many of the decisions that directly impact our lives are made locally, in our town and city governments. Therefore, if you want to create change in your community, you must first understand how these decisions are made and how community members can influence that decision-making.
In our previous Local Action workshop, we talked about running for office; in this one, we’re going to talk about other ways to create local change. We’ll walk through a strategic planning process that focuses on finding your strengths, gathering resources, and organizing other people. Join us if you want to develop a concrete plan to make change in your community!
