The 40% Solution: How to Get Those Who Don’t Vote to Vote

Hosted On Zoom
Tuesday, April 21, 2020
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Many introverts prefer to make political decisions in a quiet and reserved setting, allowing more time for thought and reflection. Some find the noise and chaos to be so off-putting that they choose not to vote.

Join Arthur Lieber for an upcoming webinar examining ideas that can make public decision-making more inviting to introverts. Topics will also include education reform, with a focus on opening up the field of teaching to individuals who are above all else, empathetic. We will also look at needed structural change in politics such as abolishing the Electoral College, ending voter suppression, and eliminating gerrymandering.

Panelists include Andy Bossie, former director of Maine Citizens for Clean Elections, Anna Kellar, current director of Maine Citizens and Brenda Knowles, author of TheQuiet Rise of Introverts.
